Gentlemen,
It is my pleasure to present the August, 2016 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.
STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Eightieth muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-six officers. Of these thirty-six officers, all thirty-six are Present for Duty. Thirty-five of the thirty-six have answered the August muster giving the AotT a 97% rate of effectives.

SPECIAL PROJECTS:
2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps has just completed a Divisional Level Multi-player game with a similar CSA formation. This battle resulted in a Major Victory for the “Old Reliables.” The initiative displayed by General Hampel and his Brigade Commanders has set a new standard for the AotT.

There are currently and sixteen brigade command vacancies within the AotT OOB.

EAGLE DIVISIONS: Five of the six AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:

Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Twenty-eighth Consecutive, Seventy-first overall effort.
General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Forty-second Consecutive and Sixty-ninth overall effort.
Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Thirtieth consecutive and Sixty-eighth overall effort.
Col. Rich Miskinis’ Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps; Tenth Consecutive and Sixty-eighth overall effort.
BATTLE REPORT:
The AotT completed 10 actions in July 2016. The AotT gained 2 MAJOR VICTORIES and 2 MINOR VICTORIES. Confederate forces gained 3 MAJOR VICTORIES and 1 MINOR VICTORY. There were 2 DRAWS.

Maj. Gen. RAY MATTHEWS earned a Battlefield Ribbon (RAPPAHANNOCK) for a MAJOR VICTORY in the first battle of the GETTYSBURG CAMPAIGN. (HPS GETTYSBURG, RAPPAHANNOCK, 1st Battle of the Campaign, 37 Turns)
