ATTENTION!! BRIGADES!

Gentlemen,

I present the very late May, 2017 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Eighty-eighth muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-two officers. Of these thirty-two officers, thirty-one were Present for Duty for the month. Thirty-one Present for Duty officers answered the May muster giving the AotT a 100% rate of effectives. .

OFFICERS RETURNED TO DUTY:

Colonel Dan Macnamara finally reported in to Return to Duty

SPECIAL PROJECTS:

1) Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s 2/XV Infantry Division has completed its Division level Multi-Player battle with a Division from the CSA. The bttle ended with a Major Victory for the 2nd Division, XV Corps, AotT!




ARMY VACANCIES:

There are currently eleven brigade command vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) All five of the 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.

b) The XVI Corps Commander Slot is Vacant

c) The remaining vacancies include:

1) 6th Artillery Brigade, 1st Division, XV Corps
2) 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
3) 4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
4) 4th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
5) Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
6) 5th Cavalry Brigade, 3(2Cav) Cavalry Division, XVI Corps


EAGLE DIVISIONS: All five AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:


Maj. Gen. Jef McDonald’s First Infantry Division, XV Corps, First Consecutive, Sixty-eighth overall effort.

Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Fifth Consecutive, Seventy-seventh overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Fiftieth Consecutive and Seventy-eighth overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Thirty-seventh consecutive and Seventy-fifth overall effort.

Brig. Gen. Rich Miskinis’ Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps; Fifth Consecutive and seventy-fourth overall effort.



BATTLE REPORT:

The AotT completed 6 Actions in the month of April 2017. Five of these actions were BATTLES. The AotT won 2 MAJOR VICTORIES and the Confederates won 2 MAJOR VICTORIES and 1 MINOR VICTORY. There were 0 DRAWS.

BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS FOR MAJOR VICTORIES:

Brig. Gen. Rich Miskinis won a GETTYSBURG Battlefield Ribbon for his Major Victory at Gettysburg (TS Gettysburg, “The Killing Fields,” scn 103b., 290 turns)


MAJOR VICTORIES NOT MERITING BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS:

Second Infantry Division, XV Corps won a Major Victory before Atlanta in a Multiplayer Battle (HPS Atlanta, “Equal Force Fight #2 (Cavalry), 20 Turns. The following officers contributed to the victory: Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel, Lt. Gen. Ed Lytwak, Brig. Gen. Rick Trembley, Brig. Gen. Ken Crist, and Col. Einar Jon Masson.
