The following divisions have been accorded the status of "Eagle Division Honor Guard" for their 100% Muster Returns during the month of September, 2011.
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION, XV CORPS, Tenth Consecutive (Eighteenth Overall) Award
THIRD (1st) CAVALRY DIVISION, XV CORPS, Fourth Consecutive (Thirteenth Overall) Award
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Fourteenth Consecutive (Eighteenth Overall) Award
THIRD (2nd) CAVALRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Thirteenth Consecutive (Seventeenth Overall) Award
Two divisions now share the honor of having the most 100% Muster Returns, the number being eighteen!
Third (2Cav)/XVI Corps is awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation for achieving another four consecutive 100% muster returns.
My personal thanks and congratulations to all of the officers who have participated so favorably with their Muster Reports in this ninth month of the year!
