OFFICERS OF THE ARMY OF THE TENNESSEE,
ATTENTION TO PARADE!
Due to a misunderstanding on the part of the Army Commander, the original report is incorrect. This report is amended as follows:
The following divisions have been accorded the status of "Eagle Division Honor Guard" for their 100% Muster Returns during the month of August, 2011.
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION, XV CORPS, Ninth Consecutive (Seventeenth Overall) Award
THIRD (1st) CAVALRY DIVISION, XV CORPS, Third Consecutive (Twelfth Overall) Award
FIRST INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Second Consecutive (Fifteenth Overall) Award
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Thirteenth Consecutive (Seventeenth Overall) Award
THIRD (2nd) CAVALRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Twelfth Consecutive (Sixfteenth Overall) Award
Two divisions now share the honor of having the most 100% Muster Returns, the number being seventeen!
My personal thanks and congratulations to all of the officers who have participated so favorably with their Muster Reports in this eighth month of the year!
