July 2011 Eagle Divisions

ATTENTION TO PARADE!

The following divisions have been accorded the status of "Eagle Division Honor Guard" for their 100% Muster Returns during the month of July, 2011.


FIRST INFANTRY DIVISION, XV Corps, Fifth Consecutive (Thirteenth Overall) Awards
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION, XV CORPS, Eight Consecutive (Sixteenth Overall) Award
THIRD (1st) CAVALRY DIVISION, XV CORPS, Second Consecutive (Eleventh Overall) Award
FIRST INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, First Consecutive (Fourteenth Overall) Award
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Twelfth Consecutive (Sixteenth Overall) Award
THIRD (2nd) CAVALRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Eleventh Consecutive (Fifteenth Overall) Award


This marks the third time that Army of the Tennessee has recorded a 100% Muster Return!

Two divisions now share the honor as that AotT division with the most 100% Muster Returns, the number being sisteen!

The present officers of the Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps, and the Third (2nd) Cavalry Division, XVI Corps have earned themselves the Meritorious Unit Citation by virtue of their division's fourth consecutive, 100% Muster Return. Those officers are:

Maj. Gen. Stefan Reuter, fourth such award.
Lt. Gen. Ed Lytwak, fourth such award.
Lt. Alek Krolikowski, second such award.
Maj. Gen. Joe Bukal, fourth such award.
Brig. Gen. Pete Russo, fourth such award.
Maj. Gen. Gary McClellan, fourth such award.
Brig. Gen. John Sheffield, third such award.
Col. Neal Carney, fourth such award.
Lt. Gen. Bob Hughes, fourth such award.
Lt. Col. Clay Shurts, second such award.
Maj. Gen. John Marchese, fourth such award.
Col. Zafer Edjer, fourth such award.
Maj. Einar Jon Masson,third such award.
Brig. Gen. David Elkin, fourth such award.
Maj. Gen. Brent Horrocks, fourth such award.
Brig. Gen. David Swartz, fourth such award.
Capt. Ephraim Burton, third such award.
Brig. Gen. Ken Jones, fourth such award.
