The following divisions have been accorded the status of "Eagle Division Honor Guard" for their 100% Muster Returns during the month of December, 2010.
FIRST INFANTRY DIVISION, XV CORPS, Second Consecutive (Eighth Overall) Award
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION< XV CORPS, First Consecutive (Ninth Overall) Award
THIRD (1st) CAVALRY DIVISION, XV CORPS, Second Consecutive (Fifth Overall) Award
FIRST INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Tenth Consecutive (Tenth Overall) Award
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Fifth Consecutive (Ninth Overall) Award
THIRD (2nd) CAVALRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Fifth Consecutive (Ninth Overall) Award
The XV Corps has now earned its third overall, 100% Muster Return.
The XVI Corps has now earned its eighth overall, 100% Muster Return.
The First Infantry Division, XVI Corps maintains its lead in the AotT as that division with the most 100% returns.
The Army of the Tennessee has for the first time in its history turned in a 100% Muster Report, thereby earning a Golden Cockade Eagle device for display upon the OOB and by having a miniature rendition of that award embroidered upon the Army's Designating Flag.
IT DOESN"T GET ANT BETTER THAN THAT! WELL DONE, GENTLEMEN!
