ATTENTION TO PARADE!
The following divisions have been accorded the status of "Eagle Division Honor Guard" for their 100% Muster Returns during the month of October, 2010.
FIRST INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Eighth Consecutive (Eighth Overall) Award
SECOND INFANTRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Third Consecutive (Seventh Overall) Award
THIRD (2nd) CAVALRY DIVISION, XVI CORPS, Third Consecutive (Seventh Overall) Award
The XVI Corps has now earned its sixth overall, 100% Muster Return.
The First Infantry Division, XVI Corps, has now tied for the lead with the Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, as that division within the army with the most 100% returns. With this, their eighth such consecutive award, the members of the entire division are entitled to receive a Meritorious Unit Citation.
It is now my pleasure to award that ribbon to the following officers:
