The following awards earned in battle for the month of August, 2010, are now made.
Brigadier General Pete Russo
Battlefield Ribbon for Rocky Face Ridge, 2nd such award, and...
Battlefield Ribbon for Savage Station, 1st such award.
Lieutenant Colonel Andreas Trommel
Battlefield Ribbon for Antietam, 1st such award.
Lieutenant Colonel Zafer Edjer
Battlefield Ribbon for Gettysburg, 1st such award.
In adition to these Battlefield Ribbons the following officers are hereby awarded the Union Army Combat Badge and Ribbon for their high activity during the month of August.
Brigadier General Pete Russo, his 2nd such award.
Brigadier General David Swartz, his 1st such award.
Lieutenant Colonel Zafer Edjer, his 1st such award.
My personal compliments to these officers for their victories upon the field and for their expertise in the prosecution of this war.

Your Army gives out awards for playing certain battles?! My word... has it gotten that bad? No victories to celebrate?! You just give out an award for being there. What is this little league? "We dont keep score here, were all winners!" Yeah, you can take those ribbons and use them to patch the holes in the back of your uniforms you got while running away!
Side Note: kudos to Gen. Russo, my good friend, who kicked my butt at Chickamauga. Give him an award for that!

Nice catch Grant! I am so used to seeing everything the Yanks create with effeminate colors I just overlooked that.

General Strickler, promise me you won't start handing out them silly medals just for fighting battles! What next!?
I reckon them Yanks even want to stop and eat before they wade in to a battle too!
