Grave News!! But all is not lost

Post by cameronm »

I am saddened to report that your commanding General Joe Meyer has had a mule failure and so cannot ride into battle, nor can he get to this tavern. But one man’s disaster and another’s opportunity, so since I have unfettered access to his bar tab shall we PARTY. Gents raise your glasses to toast the health of the Confederacy and the downfall of the Union

The ARGG has struck once again! Is there no one to whom I can turn to rid our tavern of this pestilence?

Just look at what he has done to this place in my absence! We can't even begin to sweep the place out because in his raucousness he even burnt all of the brooms.

My new computer mount has arrived and I am comfortably, for the moment, back in the saddle. I will do my best to get caught up on my games, administrative duties and e-mails within the next two days.

Of most immediate concern is an accurate report of the damage done to the Old Abe Tavern bar stocks in my absence. When I peeked in earlier on my way to the front, the place looked a mess: empty glasses and bottles scattered about, the wagonwheel lantern cocked askew, defecation in the corners, spitoons suspiciously full of an pungent ammoniated fluid, sobbing barmaids, a missing Provost Guard and bartender, and hundreds of small cameo reprints of Cameron McOmish and Bob Weir littering the floor. My first impulse was to have my escort burn the place to the ground; but on second thought I believe we'll have enough prisoners from the Western Thunder Tournament to come in and clean the place up.

I will catch him, yet!
