ATTENTION!! BRIGADES!

Gentlemen,

I present the June 2017 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Eighty-ninth muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-two officers. Of these thirty-two officers, thirty-one were Present for Duty for the month of June. Twenty-six of the Present for Duty officers answered the June muster giving the AotT an 84% rate of effectives. All of the missing Officers are from 1/XV which has not reported its June muster results as of this date.

RESIGNATIONS: NONE


OFFICERS RETURNED TO DUTY: NONE

SPECIAL PROJECTS:

1) Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s 2/XV Infantry Division is conducting a Corps Level Multiplayer Battle.

2) The AotT will conduct a Change of Command from General Dan Peterjohn to Brigadier General Ken Crist on July 1, 2017.




ARMY VACANCIES:

There are currently eleven brigade command vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) All five of the 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.

b) The XVI Corps Commander Slot is Vacant

c) The remaining vacancies include:

1) 6th Artillery Brigade, 1st Division, XV Corps
2) 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
3) 4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
4) 4th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
5) Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
6) 5th Cavalry Brigade, 3(2Cav) Cavalry Division, XVI Corps



EAGLE DIVISIONS: Four of the five AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:


Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Sixth Consecutive, Seventy-eighth overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Fifty-first Consecutive and Seventy-ninth overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Thirty-eighth consecutive and Seventy-sixth overall effort.

Brig. Gen. Rich Miskinis’ Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps; Sixth Consecutive and Seventy-fifth overall effort.



BATTLE REPORT:

The AotT completed 7 Actions in the month of May 2017. All of these actions were BATTLES However, four of these “BATTLES” were in fact early terminations due to opponents who have disappeared or, in one case, someone entering the wrong name when registering a BATTLE. Of the remaining 3 VALID BATTLES, the Confederates won 2 MAJOR VICTORIES and 1 MINOR VICTORY. There were 0 DRAWS.
