Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to present the March, 2017 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Eighty-seventh muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-five officers. Of these thirty-five officers, thirty-three were Present for Duty for the month. Thirty-two Present for Duty officers answered the March muster giving the AotT a 97% rate of effectives. 1Lt Thomas Andrews has been assigned to the AotT Hospital for the third consecutive month and will be recommended for Discharge. Captain Len Hermer has been declared Out Of Contact for failure to Muster for the Second Month. Col. Dan Macnamara did not answer the Muster for March 2017.

OUT OF CONTACT:

1) 1lt. Thomas Andrews, 3/1/XV/AotT has missed six consecutive musters and is assigned to the AotT Hospital for the third consecutive Month.

2) Capt. Len Hermer did not answer the March Muster. I have declared this officer OUT OF CONTACT for the Second Consecutive Month.

3) Col. Dan Macnamara did not answer the March, 2017 Muster.

SPECIAL PROJECTS:

1) Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s 2/XV Infantry Division is conducting another Division level Multi-Player battle with a Division from the CSA.
2) I have officially reassigned all officers from the former 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps to the 1st and 2nd Divisions of XV Corps. 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps is now deactivated.



ARMY VACANCIES:

There are currently sixteen brigade command vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) Four of the Six 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.

b) The XVI Corps Commander Slot is Vacant

c) The remaining vacancies include:

1) 6th Artillery Brigade, 1st Division, XV Corps
2) 4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
3) 4th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
4) Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
5) 5th Cavalry Brigade, 3(2Cav) Cavalry Division, XVI Corps


EAGLE DIVISIONS: All five of the AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:


Maj. Gen. Jeff McDonald’s First Infantry Division, XV Corps, Ninth Consecutive, Sixty-seventh overall effort.

Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Fifth Consecutive, Seventy-seventh overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Forty-ninth Consecutive and Seventy-seventh overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Thirty-sixth consecutive and Seventy-fourth overall effort.

Col. Rich Miskinis’ Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps; Fourth Consecutive and Seventy-third overall effort.
