ATTENTION!! BRIGADES!

Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to present the February, 2017 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Eighty-sixth muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-five officers. Of these thirty-five officers, thirty-four were Present for Duty for the month. Thirty-three Present for Duty officers answered the February muster giving the AotT a 97% rate of effectives. 1Lt Thomas Andrews has been assigned to the AotT Hospital for the second consecutive month. Captain Len Hermer has been declared Out Of Contact for repeated failures to Muster.


RETIREMENTS: NONE


DISCHARGES: NONE


RESIGNATIONS: NONE


OFFICERS RETURNED TO DUTY:

Col. Xavier Bordas has agreed to return to a full duty status. He is temporarily unable to communicate since he has recently moved house and is waiting for his Wifi to be installed.


LEAVE OF ABSENCE: NONE



OUT OF CONTACT:

1) 1lt. Thomas Andrews, 3/1/XV/AotT has missed four consecutive musters and is assigned to the AotT Hospital for the second consecutive Month..
2) Capt. Len Hermer did not answer the February Muster. Since this is the second consecutive missed muster, I have declared this officer OUT OF CONTACT.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s 2/XV Infantry Division is conducting another Division level Multi-Player battle with a Division from the CSA.



ARMY VACANCIES:

There are currently sixteen brigade command vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) All six of the 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.

b) The XVI Corps Commander Slot is Vacant

c) The remaining vacancies include:

1) 1st Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
2) 3rd Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
3) 6th Artillery Brigade, 1st Division, XV Corps
4) 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
5) 4th Cavalry Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
6) Horse Artillery Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
7) 4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
8) 4th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
9) Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
10) 5th Cavalry Brigade, 3(2Cav) Cavalry Division, XVI Corps


EAGLE DIVISIONS: Five of the six AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:


Maj. Gen. Jeff McDonald’s First Infantry Division, XV Corps, Eighth Consecutive, Sixty-sixth overall effort.

Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Fourth Consecutive, Seventy-sixth overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Forty-eighth Consecutive and Seventy-sixth overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Thirty-fifth consecutive and Seventy-third overall effort.

Col. Rich Miskinis’Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps; Third Consecutive and seventy-second overall effort.



BATTLE REPORT:

The AotT completed 4 Actions in the month of January 2017. All of these actions were BATTLES. The AotT won 2 MAJOR VICTORIES and there were 2 DRAWS.


BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS FOR MAJOR VICTORIES:

Lt.Gen. Bob Hughes won a Major Victory in the Overland Campaign (JTS Overland, Scenario 100-640504., Campaign Overland (May-June 1864), 1390 Turns) (1st Award)

Brig. Gen. Zafer Ejder won a Major Victory at Gettysburg (HPS Gettysburg, Scenario 062, Meeting Engagement, var. 7, 213 Turns) (7th Award)
