Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to present the July, 2016 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Seventy-ninth muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-seven officers. Of these thirty-seven officers, thirty-six are Present for Duty. Thirty-five of the thirty-six have answered the July muster giving the AotT a 97% rate of effectives.

1) Lt. Col. Carlos Tosca has not reported back from his six month Leave of Absence. He is now Three full months Out Of Contact and has been assigned to the AotT Hospital.

2) Captain Len Hermer has not answered the July Muster.

ARMY VACANCIES:

There are currently and fifteen brigade command vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) All six of the 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.

b) The remaining vacancies include:

1) 1st Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
2) 3rd Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
3) 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
4) 4th Cavalry Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
5) Horse Artillery Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
6) 4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
7) 4th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
8) Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
9) 4th Cavalry Brigade, 3(2Cav) Cavalry Division, XVI Corps



EAGLE DIVISIONS: Five of the six AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:


Maj. Gen. Jeff McDonald’s First Infantry Division, XV Corps, Second Consecutive, Sixtieth overall effort.

Brig. Gen. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Twenty-seventh Consecutive, Seventieth overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Forty-first Consecutive and Sixty-eighth overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Twenty-ninth consecutive and Sixty-seventh overall effort.

Col. Rich Miskinis’ Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps; Ninth Consecutive and Sixty-seventh overall effort.




BATTLE REPORT:

The AotT completed 1 action in June 2016 which resulted in a DRAW.
