ATTENTION!! BRIGADES!

Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to present the April, 2016 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Seventy-sixth muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-eight officers. Of these thirty-eight officers, thirty-six answered the April muster giving the AotT a 95% rate of effectives.


RETIREMENTS: NONE


DISCHARGES: NONE


RESIGNATIONS: NONE


OFFICERS RETURNED TO DUTY: NONE


LEAVE OF ABSENCE: NONE


OUT OF CONTACT:

1) Lt. Col. Carlos Tosca has not reported back from his six month Leave of Absence. We tried three times to contact him with no result. He is now considered Missing and Out Of Contact.

2) Lt. Gen. Randy Hartwig has not answered the April Muster. He has been declared as “Missing.” We will continue to try to contact him before we declare him as “Out of Contact.”



RECENTLY ASSIGNED OFFICERS: NONE



PROMOTIONS:

Col. (P) Derek Hampel has been confirmed by the Cabinet for promotion to Brigadier General.


SPECIAL PROJECTS: NONE



ARMY VACANCIES:

There are currently and fourteen brigade command vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) All six of the 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.

b) The remaining vacancies include:

1) 1st Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
2) 3rd Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
3) 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
4) 4th Cavalry Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
5) Horse Artillery Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
6) 4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
7) Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
8) 4th Cavalry Brigade, 3(2Cav) Cavalry Division, XVI Corps



EAGLE DIVISIONS: Five of the six AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:


Maj. Gen. Jeff McDonald’s First Infantry Division, XV Corps: Eleventh Consecutive, Fifty-ninth overall effort.

Col. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Twenty-fifth Consecutive, Sixty-eighth overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Thirty-ninth Consecutive and Sixty-sixth overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Twenty-seventh consecutive and Sixty-fifth overall effort.

Col. Rich Miskinis’ Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps; Seventh Consecutive and Sixty-fifth overall effort.




BATTLE REPORT:

The AotT completed 7 actions in March 2016. All 7 of these actions were BATTLES. Of the 7 BATTLES, the AotT gained 2 MAJOR VICTORIES. Confederate forces also gained 2 MAJOR VICTORIES. There were 3 DRAWS.



BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS FOR MAJOR VICTORIES:

Brig. Gen. Rich Miskinis won a Battlefield Ribbon for his victory at 1st Bull Run. (TS Bull Run, scenario 03, 1st Battle of Bull Run, 49 Turns)


MAJOR VICTORIES NOT MERITING BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS:

Lt. Gen. Mike Dowling won a Major Victory at Wilson’s Creek. (HPS Ozark, Scn. 03bWilson’s Creek. 21 turns)


MINOR VICTORIES: NONE
