ATTENTION!! BRIGADES!


Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to present the November, 2015 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Seventy-first muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-eight officers. Of these, thirty-five officers are present for duty. Of the thirty-five officers present for duty, all thirty-five answered the November muster giving the AotT a 100% rate of effectives.



RETIREMENTS: NONE


DISCHARGES: NONE


RESIGNATIONS: NONE


OFFICERS RETURNED TO DUTY: NONE


LEAVE OF ABSENCE:

1) Maj. Gen. Ray Matthews, 3(1Cav)/XV, is on a 6 month Leave of Absence at his own request. He is due to report back to active service on December 15, 2015.
2) Lt. Col. Carlos Tosca has requested a six month Leave of Absence due to personal requirements on his time. I have granted this Leave of Absence effective October 8, 2015 with an end date of April 8, 2016.



OUT OF CONTACT:

Brig. Gen. Charles Babb did not answer the November 2015 Muster and has now been MISSING for five full months. He has been assigned to the AotT Hospital for two full months.



RECENTLY ASSIGNED OFFICERS: NONE



PROMOTIONS: Col. (P) Rich Miskinis has been approved for promotion to Brigadier General by the ACWGC Cabinet.


SPECIAL PROJECTS: NONE



ARMY VACANCIES:

There are currently fifteen brigade vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) All six of the 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.

b) The remaining brigade vacancies include:

1) 1st Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
2) 3rd Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
3) 3rd Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
4) 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
5) 5th Cavalry Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
6) Horse Artillery Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
7) 4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
8) Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps
9) 4th Cavalry Brigade, 3(2Cav) Cavalry Division, XVI Corps



EAGLE DIVISIONS: All six of the AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:


Maj. Gen. Jeff McDonald’s First Infantry Division, XV Corps: Sixth Consecutive, Fifty-fourth overall effort.

Col. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Sixty-fourth Consecutive, Sixty-third overall effort.

Acting Division Commander Lt. Col. Maxime Yvelin’s Third Cavalry Division (1 Cav), XV Corps: Fifth Consecutive, Fifty-fifth overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Thirty-fourth Consecutive and Sixty-first overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Twenty-second consecutive and Sixtieth overall effort.

Col. Rich Miskinis, Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps; Second Consecutive and Sixtieth overall effort.




BATTLE REPORT:

The AotT completed 10 actions in October 2015. All ten actions were BATTLES. Of these 10 BATTLES, the AotT won 2 MAJOR VICTORIES and 1 MINOR VICTORY. Confederate forces gained 3 MAJOR VICTORIES and 2 MINOR VICTORIES. There were 2 DRAWS.



BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS FOR MAJOR VICTORIES:


Lt. Col. David Earls won a Battlefield Ribbon for his victory at Gettysburg. (HPS GETTYSBURG, scn.Historical 1. The Battle of Gettysburg - July 1 - 3, 1863 /136) 1st Award



MAJOR VICTORIES NOT MERITING BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS: NONE

Lt. Gen. Mike Dowling won a Major Victory at Boonville. (HPS OZARK Scn. 01a, Boonville, 24 Turns).



MINOR VICTORIES:

Gen. Dan Peterjohn won a MINOR VICTORY at Logan’s Crossroads. (Scn. 101_Hist_On To Logan’s Crossroads. 26 Turns).
