ATTENTION!! BRIGADES!

Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to present the June, 2015 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Sixty-sixth muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of Thirty-nine officers. Of these, thirty-seven officers are present for duty. Of the thirty-seven officers present for duty, 36 answered the June muster giving the AotT a 97% rate of effectives.



RETIREMENTS: Lt. Col. Michael Macnamara, 3/1/XV. Effective June 6, 2015.


DISCHARGES: NONE


RESIGNATIONS: NONE


OFFICERS RETURNED TO DUTY: NONE


LEAVE OF ABSENCE:

1) Lt. Gen. Ian Miller, 4/3(2Cav)/XVI, is on a 6 month Leave of Absence at his own request. He is due to report back to active service on July 1, 2015.
2) Maj. Gen. Ray Matthews, 3(1Cav)/XV, is on a 6 month Leave of Absence at his own request. He is due to report back to active service on December 15, 2015.


OUT OF CONTACT: Brig. Gen. Charles Babb did not answer the June, 2015 Muster and is currently listed as MISSING.



RECENTLY ASSIGNED OFFICERS: NONE



PROMOTIONS: NONE




SPECIAL PROJECTS: No I have given up trying to get this tournament going.


ARMY VACANCIES:

There are currently thirteen brigade vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) All six of the 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.

b) The remaining brigade vacancies include:

1) 1st Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
2) 3rd Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
3) 3rd Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
4) 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
5) 5th Cavalry Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
6) 4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
7) Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps



EAGLE DIVISIONS: Five of the six AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:


Maj. Gen. Jeff McDonald’s First Infantry Division, XV Corps: First Consecutive, Forty-ninth overall effort.

Col. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Fifteenth Consecutive, Fifty-eighth overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Twenty-ninth Consecutive and Fifty-sixth overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Seventeenth consecutive and Fifty-fifth overall effort.

Lt. Col. Rich Miskinis’ Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps: Thirtieth consecutive and Fifty-sixth overall effort.


BATTLE REPORT:

The AotT completed 4 actions in May 2015. These actions consisted of 1 MANEUVER and 3 BATTLES. Of these 3 BATTLES, the AotT won 2 MAJOR VICTORIES, Confederate forces gained 1 MAJOR VICTORY. There were 0 DRAWS.


BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS FOR MAJOR VICTORIES:


Col. Rich Miskinis is awarded a Battlefield Ribbon (Gettysburg) for his Major Victory at Gettysburg (TS Gettysburg, Scn 13a. Battle of Gettysburg, 149 turns). 3rd Award


Maj. Gen. Brent Horrocks is awarded a Battlefield Ribbon (Antietam) for his Major Victory at Antietam (HPS Antietam, Scn 034. Ant_Antietam) , 40 turns). 1st Award


MAJOR VICTORIES NOT MERITING BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS: NONE
