AotT Monthly Army Report

ATTENTION!! BRIGADES!

Gentlemen,

 It is my pleasure to present the April, 2015 Monthly Report of the Union Army of the Tennessee.

STRENGTH: This month the AotT conducted its Sixty-fourth muster since its reorganization in January 2010. As of this date, this field army has attached to it an aggregate of forty officers. Of these, thirty-nine officers are present for duty. Of the thirty-nine officers present for duty, all answered the April muster giving the AotT a 100% rate of effectives.

DISCHARGES: NONE


RESIGNATIONS:

Maj. Jon Moore, 4/1/XVI (eff. April 4 2015)




OFFICERS RETURNED TO DUTY: NONE


LEAVE OF ABSENCE: Lt. Gen. Ian Miller, 4/3(2Cav)/XVI, is on a 6 month Leave of Absence at his own request. He is due to report back to active service on July 1, 2015.

PROMOTIONS: NONE


SPECIAL PROJECTS: No Change in the status of the tournament. I received one email from the AoW Commander about three weeks ago about the subject with nothing since.



ARMY VACANCIES: 

There are currently twelve brigade vacancies within the AotT OOB.

a) All six of the 7th Reserve Brigades are vacant.



b) The remaining brigade vacancies include:

1st Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XV Corps
3rd Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XV Corps
5th Cavalry Brigade, 3(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps
4th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, XVI Corps
Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, XVI Corps



EAGLE DIVISIONS: Each of the six AotT divisions turned in a 100% Muster Return this month. The following records have been noted:

Maj. Gen. Jeffrey McDonald’s First Infantry Division, XV Corps, Second Consecutive, Forty-eighth overall effort.

Col. Derek Hampel’s Second Infantry Division, XV Corps, Thirteenth Consecutive, Fifty-sixth overall effort.

Maj. Gen. Ray Matthews’ Third(1Cav) Cavalry Division, XV Corps, Third Consecutive, Forty-ninth overall effort.

General Chuck Jensen’s First Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Twenty-seventh Consecutive and Fifty-fourth overall effort.

Maj. Gen. John Sheffield’s Second Infantry Division, XVI Corps: Fifteenth consecutive and Fifty-third overall effort.



Lt. Col. Rich Miskinis’ Third Cavalry Division (2Cav), XVI Corps: Twenty-eighth consecutive and Fifty-fourth overall effort.





BATTLE REPORT:

The AotT completed 6 actions in March 2015. These actions consisted of 1 UMA Training Session and 5 BATTLES. Of these 5 BATTLES, the AotT won 1 MAJOR VICTORY. Confederate forces gained 2 MAJOR VICTORIES. There was 1 DRAW. Confederate forces gained 1 more MAJOR VICTORY by declaring an end to an unfinished battle by an AotT officer who resigned years ago. This battle should not count for official records. 





BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS FOR MAJOR VICTORIES:


Col. Rich Miskinis is awarded a Battlefield Ribbon for his Major Victory at Gettysburg (TS Gettysburg, Scn 13a. (Battle of Gettysburg, 149 turns). 2nd Award




MAJOR VICTORIES NOT MERITING BATTLEFIELD RIBBONS: NONE
