Re: Change of Command, Army of the Cumberland
Well, Brett! It looks as if you've made a big step forward in this organization of ours, taking on the command of the AotC.
A steady hand, clear eye and considerate approach will always pay handsome dividends. And if that doesn't work, you can always count upon me for providing you with all of the fortitudinal liquor you need. (I steal from Derald's stock all the time!) And if that still doesn't provide the need, then General Danner can take you on one of his frequent, unauthorized sabbaticals to Greece or Italy, where you can consume all of the foreign wines available to your heart's content. And, in the end, if that still doesn't satisfy the issue, we'll simply throw you on a train to Texas where General Nelms will ply you with beer and Bar-B-Que till you burst.
Good luck in your new command, Brett!
First round of drinks is on me!
