Milestone Achievement, Gen. Walter
Gentlemen of the ACWGC Union Army,
As the ACWGC does not bill itself as a "points ladder club," there have been no Union Army awards established for the various milestones in OBD point achievement that an officer may attain. There has been, however, an exclusive club of Union Army officers who have attained 3,000 OBD Points and above. This past month General Dierk Walter surpassed the 3,000-point mark and joins Generals Mark Nelms, Kelly Ross, Ernie Sands, Jeff Laub and Dave Danner as the seventh member of that club!
Please join me in personally congratulating him on this event.

Re: Milestone Achievement, Gen. Walter
Congratulations General Walter. It is not only an astonishing feat going up and over that peak. But to be standing up there looking down on 12...TWELVE years of activity in the club. As a betting man I would also wager that not only have you achieved that threshold with the others, but I would also guess without even examing the record that you did so with a stellar ratio of wins to losses..not to say that is the point so much as just a likely bit of trivia. Again congratulations Dierk. SALUTE! The schnapps is on me

I suggest that a lifetime achievement medal be awarded to Gen Walter and the others who have reached this exalted level, if not for their scores at least for the number of years they have served in the club!

Congratulations Dierk, been a long time and a lot of OBD points since a certain Lieutenant asked me if I could arrange to get him transferred to the VIII Corps.

Congratulations Dierk! In your case I'm sure most of your points were earned with victories, however my points are a reflection on what longevity can do for you!
