General Sands Receives ESM for 2012 Service!

OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
ATTENTION TO PARADE!
CITATION FOR EXEMPLARY SERVICE MEDAL COMMENDATION
AND ASSOCIATE GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL
GENERAL ERNIE SANDS
General Ernie Sands is awarded both the Union Army's Exemplary Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal for his solid and excellent service as the Union Army's Western Theater Commander during the year, 2012. During that period of time General Sands has provided a stalwart, consistent and commendable assistance to the General-in-Chief by his timely and proficient direction of the Western Theater concerns and issues. He has been ready, responsive, knowledgeable and helpful in his answers and guidances, sometimes going far out of his way in providing what was needed. I have been particularly grateful for his presence and need not tell him of my own personal satisfaction in the job he has performed.
The ESM is the General's first such award, the GCM his second!
General Sands is also now authorized to display the Theater Commander, 1-Year Service ribbon.
