CITATION FOR THE DEFENDER OF THE UNION COMMENDATION
GENERAL DAN PETERJOHN
For the past two years General Dan Peterjohn has put forward a remarkable, sustained and exemplary effort as the Commander of the ACWGC Union Army of the Tennessee, providing that field command with an intuitive, polished and comprehensive leadership and direction. Under his hand the AotT has retained its lustre as one of the most responsive field armies within the UA orbit, providing an anchor point of commitment and stability to the entire Union Army effort. Irrespective of his frequent, world-wide assignments for the United States Department of Defense in the United States Army training programs, General Peterjohn has managed to knit together his personal obligations with his club obligations in a manner few others would have undertaken and has done so in an entirely proficient and acceptable manner. His comprehensive grasp of his command duties and the performance of them stands well above that of his fellow officers and has few peers, being reflective of his own personal experience as a former serving officer in the United States Army. By his organization, planning and actions, General Peterjohn has well earned this commendation bestowed upon him this date and receives the personal thanks and recognition of the ACWGC Union Army as a whole for his dutiful and highly successful command of the Army of the Tennessee.
