Mark Nelms Standing for Election the ACWGC Presidency

Official ACWGC Union Army General rank promotion announcements, command appointments and UA awards are made on the Parade Ground. The Mess Tent serves as a casual place for all club members to socialize, drink or have a meal, as long as they spend Yankee dollars! And, as much as we like to accommodate our Southron brethren, they will not be able to vote in any polls held here, or gain access to the restricted areas.

Mark Nelms Standing for Election the ACWGC Presidency

Post by David Danner »

General Mark Nelms of the AotC XIV Corps is standing for election for the ACWGC Presidency. Right now it is unknown if he will be opposed. The Union side has never had a Club President from our ranks and I personally can think of no one better to assume this important position. Mark will make his biography know before the election, but I can tell you it is extensive in Club activities, from Union CoA, Cabinet officer, right on down to dependable opponent/ally and Union Military Academy Trainer. Our Club will continue to advance and prosper under his leadership but he will need our help. I urge each of you to make yourself aware of the voting dates and just how to cast your vote. Voting information is available at the Mason-Dixon Tavern.

as long as a candidate is ready, willing, and able to perform the duties of the office, then i say even a cook would be a worthy soldier.
