General Laub Honored For Cabinet Service

Official ACWGC Union Army General rank promotion announcements, command appointments and UA awards are made on the Parade Ground. The Mess Tent serves as a casual place for all club members to socialize, drink or have a meal, as long as they spend Yankee dollars! And, as much as we like to accommodate our Southron brethren, they will not be able to vote in any polls held here, or gain access to the restricted areas.

General Laub Honored For Cabinet Service

Post by Joe Meyer »

(This posting has also been made within the Mason Dixon Tavern)

OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
ATTENTION TO PARADE!

This parade is called to honor the service rendered as a Union Army Cabinet Secretary over the course of the last year by General Jeff Laub.

CITATION FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE ORDER
GENERAL JEFF LAUB

Image

For his unwavering and consistent service to the Union Army as a Cabinet Secretary throughout the year 2011, General Jeff laub is awarded the UA's Distinguished Service Order. Jeff took the time out from his busy personal schedule and growing family to provide his insights and experience as a respected and long-time officer of the Union Army to the deliberations and discussions attendant to the administration of the club within the ACWGC Cabinet. This service he rendered voluntarily, directly and promptly as required, stating his thoughts and presenting his arguments in a forthright, unobstructed manner, reflective and indicative of the crisp and economical manner with which he directed the Union Army for a previous four-year period. While external, personal obligations overrode his ability to continue his two-year tenure as a UA Cabinet Secretary, General Laub remains an active officer of the AotP and club member.

This is the General's first such award!

General Laub is also authorized to display the 1-Year Union Army Cabinet Secretary Service Ribbon.

OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
Present, ARMS!
Order, ARMS!
Parade, DISMISSED!

Please join me in saluting this fine officer for his service on our behalf.
General Jos. C. Meyer,
Union Army Chief of Staff
Commander, Army of the Shenandoah
(2011-2014 UA GinC)

Jeff, my hat's off to you. Such long, dependable, free and good service to the Union Army and the ACWGC can only be indicative of someone in need of major psychological help. If I can find out which psychiatrist that Mark uses then I'll pass that info on to you.

Thank you for the service as both you and Mark earned my admiration years ago. Don't spend a dime at the bar as Mark is buying.

General Laub,

Thank you for your service to the Union Army and to the ACWGC. I would buy drinks, but apparantly someone else has already picked up the tab.

The value of the body of your work is indeed impressive. I cannot express the importance of officers like you, who give their time and energy to the Club and ask nothing for their reward. I salute you and join your party at the Mess Tent for drinks and fun.
