OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
ATTENTION TO PARADE!

As a result of a report recently compiled from the Department of Records I submit the following information.

For the period of the 1st Quarter of 2011 there were fought a total of 191 verified battles; that is, battles only, discluding UMA Training and maneuvers. Out of that number the Union Army posted the following overall record.

73 Major Victories, 16 Minor Victories, 33 Draws, 17 Minor Defeats, and 52 Major Defeats.
By dividing the total number of MV and mV (89) by the total number battles fought (191), the Union Army recorded a .466 percentage.

The overall record for each of the four field armies is given below, in the order of greatest number of battles fought within the period.

ARMY OF THE TENNESSEE (71 battles)
29 Major Victories, 6 Minor Victories, 11 Draws, 4 Minor Defeats, 21 Major Defeats
Percentage of victories: .492

ARMY OF THE POTOMAC (47 battles)
13 Major Victories, 6 Minor Victories, 11 Draws, 4 Minor Defeats, 13 Major Defeats
Percentage of victories: .404

ARMY OF THE SHENANDOAH (42 battles)
14 Major Victories, 2 Minor Victories, 6 Draws, 7 Minor Defeats, 13 Major Defeats
Percentage of victories: .381

ARMY OF THE CUMBERLAND (31 battles)
17 Major Victories, 2 Minor Victories, 5 Draws, 2 Minor Defeats, 5 Major Defeats
Percentage of victories: .612

On the basis of the highest percentage of victories recorded for the 1st Quarter of 2011, it is therefore my pleasure to award the Union Army Combat Medallion to the Army of the Cumberland!
