MANASSAS SESQUICENTENNIAL CHALLENGE JULY 21, 1861/2011

Official ACWGC Union Army General rank promotion announcements, command appointments and UA awards are made on the Parade Ground. The Mess Tent serves as a casual place for all club members to socialize, drink or have a meal, as long as they spend Yankee dollars! And, as much as we like to accommodate our Southron brethren, they will not be able to vote in any polls held here, or gain access to the restricted areas.

MANASSAS SESQUICENTENNIAL CHALLENGE JULY 21, 1861/2011
HPS Antietam Sc003 1BR_ A blind meeting engagement near Bull Run V1
(What if, 42 Turns) A meeting engagement. No VP hexes, except two exit hexes for both sides. Also, this scenario uses variable entry hexes.
Each reinforcement will have a percentage chance to enter at different hexes. Every game will be different.

Many of us know the history of the actual battle and the flow of the historic game scenarios - here you paint your own canvass. You will be the general with full responsibility for where your men are and you will also not be able to forecast where exactly your opponent should be. Manassas or Bull Run .....with a difference.

Tournament Rules are simple:

One on One
Rules agreed between both players
Tournament starts approx 1 July 2011 and ends 31 August 2011
Points: Major Victory 4, Minor Victory 2, Draw 1

Regards
Brig Gen Stewart Stiles
Commander Army of Northern Virginia
