January Muster Cumberland Sabres / XIV Corps

Official ACWGC Union Army General rank promotion announcements, command appointments and UA awards are made on the Parade Ground. The Mess Tent serves as a casual place for all club members to socialize, drink or have a meal, as long as they spend Yankee dollars! And, as much as we like to accommodate our Southron brethren, they will not be able to vote in any polls held here, or gain access to the restricted areas.

January Muster Cumberland Sabres / XIV Corps

Post by mvdh »

My January Muster Report:

Completed games this month:

HPS Antietam scenario "March to Hagerstown" as the Union vs General Andy Taylor.

Turn 59 of 86 Sunrise day 2. We agreed to a draw.

HPS Chickamaga as the Union vs. Col Greg Barnard as the CSA. A rematch. We suffered a minor loss by 5 points on the last turn.

Games started this month:

HPS Gettysburg Campaign games as the Union against General Andy Taylor. Turn 19 0f 47 in the opening scenario Brandy Station. Cavalry skirmishing so far.

HPS Chickamauga Campaign game as Union against Col Greg Barnard. Turn 4 of 38 in the opening scenario, Meeting engagement at Perryville.

Ongoing Games:

HPS Peninsula scenario "Save the Union, the Siege of Richmond" at the Union vs General Tim Reneau.

Turn 67 of 133. Sunrise here as well. We launched our attack at first light and carried the Rebel works on their right flank. This unhinged their line from the James River. Hope to exploit our success with both Fitz-John Porters Vth Corps and Irwin McDowell's Ist Corps in the attack. Let's see what their 46,000 men can do from here.

HPS Peninsula scenario "Historical Campaign" as the Union vs Col George Tarr.

Turn 67 of 407. Fierce fighting all along the line on the morning of day 2. We stand on a minor victory here.
