Maj. Gen. van der Hagen Honored For Service!

OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
ATTENTION TO PARADE!
Major General Mark van der Hagen, Commander of Second ("Deuce Fourteen") Infantry Division, XIV Corps, Army of the Cumberland, has stepped down at the completion of his two-year term as a Union Army Cabinet Secretary. Mark served capably and regularly in this club role, generously giving of his personal time and meeting the requirements of his duties with grace, good humor and insightfulness, contributing his thoughts and advises in a friendly and straightforward manner. As a Cabinet Secretary he was also a member of the Union Army Command Staff, wherein he duplicated these traits and provided timely and efficient service.
In recognition of his Cabinet Secretary's service on behalf of the Union Army it is my pleasure to present him with the Union Army's Outstanding Service Medal and ribbon, his first such award.
Major General van der Hagen is also authorized to wear the Union Army Cabinet Secretary Service Ribbon - 2 Years Service.
