Thank you all. I hope I can do the position justice. I was hoping for some time to get back into the saddle at Corcoran's but I guess this is my reward for being gone for two months! My main concern for VIII Corps is participation and in particular the Muster. I know this is not a concern for many or most of the members but for me it is a yardstick for Esprit de Corps. A unit that musters well shows a concerned membership. I will be pushing the command staff to prod their subordinates from their lethargy and hopefully we can improve our participation. There is only so much one can do of course but at least I will try.
