Challenge to VIII Corps

Suh, my compliments!

I'm Neal Hebert, commander of II Corps, Army of the Mississippi. I've been a member of the ACWGC for almost four years and also serve as a CSA Secretary on the ACWGC Cabinet. While originally from Louisiana, I now reside in Modesto, California.

I recently observed that Brigadier General Olinsky is no longer in command of "Hancocks Division", his command now redesignated as "Corcoran's Legion". Gone is the hospital flag, now replaced with Corcoran's colors and the addition of a few new officers. I wish Greg luck with his new command, although a pig with lipstick is still a pig . Don't worry, he won't be offended. I've endured enough comments about Nicodemus being made into boots or handbags, however he's still around giving you Yanks fits.

To the matter at hand. "Corcoran's Legion" is displaying the colors of the now inactivated IV Corps, Army of the Mississippi, alongside its own colors. The IV Corps colors were lost by General Roger Hulinsky to what was then the premier division of the Yank army, but now a distant memory of better days for the Army of the Shenandoah. They will be returned to Mississippi by force, if necessary.

I will not "deftly" swat, smack, slap or strike anyone with immaculate gloves (a favorite of your Army commander). I simply challenge you to gather your forces and negotiate a contest we and our division commanders can agree to. I will offer the II Corps colors in return should an acceptable contest be negotiated.
