Rob posted the following about himself in the Cadet's Canteen during his time at the Union Military Academy.

I come to you from that despicable state Florida. When I heard tell that they seceded with those other rebellious states on January 10th, I hightailed it out of there. I will have nothing to do with my fellow statesman, except for showing them what's right and what's wrong. I look forward to fighting along side my true countrymen. Long live the Union!!
