Dang this place is still a dump, but there is upside - the bar is well stocked. This would have a lot to do with the fact that Gen Meyer has made the AotS teetotal

Well I see that the Winchester Arms Bar remains high on General McOmish's list of "Likely Establishments From Which To Pilfer Free Drinks!" He's much like that annoying fly that buzzes about your head and won't stand still long enough for a good swat. One can always tell when the Confederacy's prospects seem to brighten on the battlefield. That's when their senior officers come sauntering in through the doors without an invitation or even a "By-your-leave," wearing all their weapons and slamming their palms upon the bar in great expectation that they'll be immediately provided with the best in the house, thereby seeking to prove their martial skills dominance over a quaking audience.

I've found that our best response to these moments of unfounded bluster is to provide them with all they can drink as quickly as possible (which isn't that much in actuality as they keep throwing off most of their shots onto their noses), and then quietly escort them out the back door to retch in the old horse trough. After that we disarm them, remove their boots and have them lie down in the straw to sleep it off in the old quartermaster's shed along with the wild pigs.

The place still has that same old vile ambiance that makes one want to throw up as soon as one walks through the door. However in my mission to drink the Union dry I must step inside, girdle my loins and drink like I mean it. Come on Yanks give me all those free drinks so I can go out back in put it all in the horse trough to make room for more
