Rat Problems in the Army of the Potomac

Rats and Mice have been responsible for or implicated in the spread of various diseases to people and domestic animals for years. Because of the habits of rodents traveling in sewers, garbage, etc., mostly places the Army of the Potomac officers run to hide, there are still plenty of cases of human and animal diseases being transmitted.
Some of the more common diseases transmitted by roof and norway rats are:
1.Plague - which is spread from rats to people by the oriental rat flea.
2.Murine Typhus - caused by a bacterial organism which is transmitted from infected rats to people also by the oriental rat flea.
3.Rickettsial pox - also caused by a bacterial organism is transmitted by mites from mice to people. Mainly in areas of New York City and several New England Cities. You will notice this is where many Army of the Potomac officers call home.
4.Salmonellosis (acute food poisoning) - is caused by a bacterium which can thrive in sewers, live stock facilities, septic tanks, cesspools, garbage, andother similar environments. It is spread mainly by fecal droppings by rats and mice.
5.Rat Bite Fever - is caused by a bacterium which can live in the saliva of both rats and mice. It has flu like symptoms that can last for days and is sometimes fatal.
6.Leptospirosis, Lymphocytic choriomeningitis, trichinosis, typhoid, dysentery as well as others.
Signs of the Bubonic Plague may include:
Acral gangrene: Gangrene of the extremities such as toes, fingers, lips and tip of the nose.
Chills
General ill feeling (malaise)
High fever (39 °Celsius; 102 °Fahrenheit)
Muscle Cramps[6]
Seizures
Smooth, painful lymph gland swelling called a bubo, commonly found in the groin, but may occur in the armpits or neck, most often at the site of the initial infection (bite or scratch)
Pain may occur in the area before the swelling appears
Skin color changes to a pink hue in some extreme cases
Now - take a look at your commanding general. Tell me he does not fit all of those symptoms!
How do these diseases spread? Take a look at the chart below.
It is obvious your generals are all infected and must be put down. After the extermination of your officers I suggest switching to the Confederate side of the Club where each man is given a large bounty, 3 wives, and his own plantation with a lifetime supply of sweet tea.
