Gentlemen, Blue and Grey,

It has been entirely too quiet for too long around this fine establishment. An opportunity has presented itself to me so I must avail myself of it! My superiors in their infinite WISDOM (note I have capitalized that) have seen fit to give me an award. A very Wise bunch indeed! But I digress!! Our dear Barmaids Gertrude and Molly have not had their Tip Jar filled in ages and I aim to rectify that situation post haste! So Gentlemen, join me as we toast to those that are with us, and those that we wish were. Drinks on me, the Bar is Open!!

And just so you know that I am not making this up, here you go. From Gen. Sober himself (may he be less so shortly):

Gentlemen,

I am most pleased to announce that Lt. General Randall Sickbert has been awarded the Exemplary Service Medal for his service to the Union Army and to the ACWGC. Here is the text of the Commendation.

FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC IN NUMEROUS COMMAND POSITIONS FROM JANUARY
2019 TO OCTOBER 2021. LT GEN SICKBERT’S CONSISTENT SUPPORT OF THE MUSTER PROCESS WHICH EMBRACED THE
ENTIRETY OF V CORPS AND HIS MANY ACTS OF SUPPORT TO FELLOW MEMBERS TYPIFY HIS LEADERSHIP AND PROVIDE
SOUND EXAMPLES WHICH EPITOMIZE THE LEADERSHIP AND CHARACTER TO WHICH ALL UNION OFFICERS SHOULD
ASPIRE. LT GEN SICKBERT’S SELFLESS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC BRING GREAT CREDIT TO
HIM, THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC, AND THE ACWGC.
