Welcome Lt Truesdell

MAIN TAVERN ROOM
Welcome to officers of both sides. Sit down and enjoy a drink served by our lovely barmaids Gertrude and Molly. Trade war stories or tall tales, but remember your deportment; that large man behind the counter will not hesitate to escort you out, if your behavior does not honor your rank!

Thanks! Happy to be here! Played wargames since the 80's but other than one scenario of Across Five Aprils, no Civil War experience...

Hi boys! Just stopped by to collect my drink from the new lieutenant! Come here, lad, and let me fill you in on your new AC, General Osbourne.

He's a stickler for making your musters on time, just like I am! But he also, they say, likes to "collect" campaign hats, especially here in the bar when you're not looking. Has something to do with "finding the right size" and such, or so he says. But I think that he's selling whatever he can pilfer right on back to the Quartermaster to finance his liquor cabinet! It's probably just all rumor, but you never know. Is that your hat back on the table? You ought not to leave it sitting around like that. Would you like me to watch it for you? ;)

Well crap. Lost my first scenario after joining but learned a LOT about moving long distances and crossing rivers when you have to build a bridge. In my defense, there was a bridge symbol on the map so...
