Set 'em up

MAIN TAVERN ROOM
Welcome to officers of both sides. Sit down and enjoy a drink served by our lovely barmaids Gertrude and Molly. Trade war stories or tall tales, but remember your deportment; that large man behind the counter will not hesitate to escort you out, if your behavior does not honor your rank!

Set 'em up

Post by Nicodemus »

Hey barkeep! Dust off a couple of glasses and pour me a shot of something stout. Set one up for General McOmish as well, as he's usually not too far behind when there's drinking to be done.

Anyone seen General "Deano" Martin? I last saw him at Murfreesboro and am hoping he'll drop by to throw a couple back with me; we're fellow Cajuns and wouldn't let a little thing like hostilities interfere with socializing ;)

Hey General Hebert!!!! Hope you're well!

Look in the corner at that trembling ball of blue that whimpers occationally between sips of the purest corn liquor in the bar.

That's Deano. :o

Between sobs he keeps muttering something about "no ADF - not enough men - too close, no ADF- not enough men - too close, no ADF - not enough men - too close..."

Then something like " Murfreesboro, ooooooohhhhhhh" between sobs and sips...

He seems a tad bit more damaged than usual.

[raises head slowly from the bar and cocks an ear to the side] Hulinsky, Hulinsky....I met a a Hulinsky once, fine fellow, good businessman. Heard he went off and sided with the Rebs though. [turns head slowly scanning blurrily about...well I'll be a monkeys uncle!] Barman, a bottle if you please. Looks like the CSA is out numbering Gen. Martin and I must move straight away obliquely to his support.

General Martin <salute>

Now, have another drink and forget about Murfreesboro. I see we have General Hulinsky and Lieutenant Sickbert to help us liberate some of this fine sippin' whiskey; I'll see that Nicodemus takes care of the Lieutenant's horse for him.

General McOmish <salute>

Welcome, suh! Nicodemus hasn't been causing too much trouble recently, and what's one less horse to the Yanks?

It appears we have the Yanks outnumbered again, perhaps they'll call in reinforcements.
