Sirs
New Cadet Rann reporting from duty.
I am a 51 year old Michigan transplant residing in Pennsylvania. I first became active in PBEM HPS games around 2003 and taking a break for a number of years until 2019. I am prior service army but you wouldn't know that by my record.
I am excited to keep the Union together and serve in the Union Army.
Salute
New Cadet Phoenix Rann

Re: New Cadet Rann
Great to have you at the Academy, Cadet Rann! We'll have you outfitted with new epaulettes and a shiny saber in no time, fit to catch the eye of any southern maiden in distress. Just be careful where you place such items in the Canteen here -- especially if near any officers whose last name rhymes with "Meyer" or "Dortch!"

Cadet Rann,
Welcome.
Where in Pa do you call home ?
I'm about 15 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
Prior to this mess I normally made several trips a year east to Lancaster for HMGS conventions or to Gettysburg.

Re: New Cadet Rann
I live in between Reading and Lancaster about 25 miles from each. I was going to check out the Minatures Convention but like you said this mess took care of that.
I had just joined a Philadelphia ASL club and made one meeting in March right when we only had 2 positive cases in the whole state. Thank God for PBEM wargames.
