It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Cadet Rossbach! I'll see you at the Mason Dixon Tavern hopefully soon...Lieutenant. There, I will let you buy me some drinks and wow you with tales of General McOmish and his Boozy Mountain Boys. They're the entertainment here abouts.

Welcome, Cadet Rossbach! We're glad to have you join the club, Jeff.

By tradition, your UMA instructor stands for the first 5 rounds of drinks to celebrate your selection to the Academy. And don't let ol' Col. Boling try to tell you otherwise! 'Sides, he's known to carry about great wadges of cash, especially after the Rebs visit town for poker night.

<Salute!>

Thank you for the welcome.

I must report that my training game would have ended in a defeat had it not been for the kindness and respect shown by Colonel Boling. His men out classed and out fought mine but has afforded me a draw. Much respect for this kind officer.

Dont get discouraged, Cadet Rossbach. My training exercise ended the same way and I haven't faired too much better since. We'll stick together and learn how to beat them Johnnie's.

Cadet Rossbach:

Thank you for your kind words. Your play demonstrated sound tactics and solid use of artillery... all together a good start!

And Welcome again the the ranks of the Union Army!

(I will allow you to buy me drinks, while I continue your After Action Review... the severity of my critique will be softened by spirituous liquors)

Col Boling

Retired firefighters are always welcome. I spent some time "opening the bale" and dragging the hose myself. I went over to the dark side and retired as a Paramedic. Best of Luck! Frank
