Welcome Mike. I'm not sure if General Danner mentioned but it is customary for the new cadets to purchase drinks for the more senior officers until they've had their fill. Don't worry, you'll get paid soon enough when your join the regular ranks. Your very lucky having General Danner as a trainer as he's one of our best.
