How does stacking order impact fire?

Post by Tom Lifsey »

How does the order in a stack impact defensive or opportunity fire? Does the top unit in the stack take all the casualties or is there some other calculation? I have not been able to tell from the games I have played. I know offensive fire allows a choice of target unit.

Thanks.

Good question, Tom! I'm not certain either, but its been my impression that the top unit absorbs opportunity fire. You should go ahead and repost this question at the Mason Dixon Tavern!
