February Army Report

MAIN TAVERN ROOM
Welcome to officers of both sides. Sit down and enjoy a drink served by our lovely barmaids Helga and Ingrid. Trade war stories or tall tales, but remember your deportment; that large man behind the counter will not hesitate to escort you out, if your behavior does not honor your rank!

February Army Report

Post by David Danner »

Army of the Cumberland
February, 2013 Army Report
2-21-13

Western Theatre Commander General Ernest Sands:

The Army of the Cumberland February muster was 28 of 37 officers responding including several who mustered through their Division/Army Commander and did not show up at the Tavern due to problems with their AOL ISP. We were assigned no new officers this month. General John Fogarty has accepted Command the XX Corps 1st Division and we welcome him to this important role in our Army. He has been a previous Division Command experience and is a fine officer.

Again, I would like to encourage each member of our Army to help identify exceptional effort by your friends and foes. Please bring this to the attention of your immediate superior.

Thirteen battles were started this month and twenty-one ended. Of these twenty-one, 6 were major victories, 2 minor victories, 5 major defeats, 0 minor losses, 3 draws, and there was 5 maneuver or Union Military Academy Training games played to an end this month. Congratulations gentlemen well played.

The XX Corps Lafayette Division and the XIV Corps Deuce Fourteen Division have been selected for the Honor Guard this month.

There is one officer currently in advanced training and there are now nine veteran members participating in the Red Badge of Courage Tournament. They are Generals Ciampa, van der Hagen, Riggs, Shaw, Ayers, Nelms, Gross, Chatain, and Wilkes. See results at the end of January below and there will be additional victories to add next month. Congratulations gentlemen.
