Welcome to Lieutenant John Ferry
Please join me in welcoming Lieutenant John Ferry to the AotC;
He has just been assigned to the newly created 5th Brigade of Infantry, 2nd division Lafayette, XX corps.
Lieutenant Ferry is a very able officer and will be a strong addition to our command.
He is one of the designers of the recently released JTS Campaign Overland
Drinks are on my tab all night long. Let's open some fine bottles of Aloxe-Corton for his arrival

Re: Welcome to Lieutenant John Ferry
Well since General Chatain is buying lets all stay a while. Ned Simms might have trouble getting on his horse, so don't leave him alone. So we welcome John to our Army and table. He already has a taste for the good wine, as he has been supping at General Meyer's table.......

Welcome to our merry band John! Well most of us are merry, General Simms tends to be a bit of grouch sometimes but we overlook it due to his advanced years.

Welcome to the club young man. I see that you have fallen for the evils of Union cause and the appalling dress sense that so permeates the Union command structure. If you ever come to your senses and are looking from a well tailored uniform and a cause worth fighting for then do drop my tent.
