Officers of the Army of the Cumberland,

Further Attention to Parade

The George H. Thomas Achievement Medal

General Antony Barlow

By unanimous vote of the Army of the Cumberland membership General Antony Barlow is awarded his second George H. Thomas Medal for Ten Years of Web site administration and service to our Army. His dedication to our Army is recognized as an unparalleled singular achievement because he gives his contribution to us without general notice with the care one might bring to their family. This personal commitment by him stands apart from the rest of us as we march past him in "hand salute."

Thank you. I wasn't expecting this. I had no idea, when I took over responsibility for the AotC website in 2002, that I would still be doing it ten years later! It has been, and remains, a privilege and a pleasure to serve the AotC, the Union Army, and the Club. The website, though, is only the visible side of a larger team effort that keeps the army running, points and medals awarded, etc., year after year. We are stronger when we work together!
