November Army Report

MAIN TAVERN ROOM
Welcome to officers of both sides. Sit down and enjoy a drink served by our lovely barmaids Helga and Ingrid. Trade war stories or tall tales, but remember your deportment; that large man behind the counter will not hesitate to escort you out, if your behavior does not honor your rank!

November Army Report

Post by David Danner »

Army of the Cumberland
November, 2012 Army Report
11-24-12

Western Theatre Commander General Ernest Sands:

The Army of the Cumberland November muster was 26 of 35 officers responding including the one new recruit we have been assigned this month, Lieutenant Kevin Crawford. He has been assigned to the Cumberland Sabers Division and we extend a warm welcome to him. General Greg Edmand has come out of retirement and has been granted reinstatement. He is awaiting assignment.

Again I would like to encourage each member of our Army to help identify exceptional effort by your opponents and allies. Please bring this to the attention of your immediate superior.

Seventeen battles were started this month and twenty-four ended. Of these twenty-four, 12 were major victories, 3 minor victories, 6 major defeats, 3 minor losses, there was 1 draw, and there were 0 maneuvers or Union Military Academy Training games played to an end this month. Congratulations gentlemen well played. The above draw was an old game of a discharged officer and will not be counted in this month’s total.

The XX Corps Lafayette Division and the XIV Corps 1st and 3rd Divisions have been selected for the Honor Guard this month.

There are no officers currently in advanced training. But there are now seven veteran members participating in the Red Badge of Courage Tournament with the inclusion of General Ciampa. Others are, Generals van der Hagen, Riggs, Shaw, Nelms, Chatain, and Wilkes. Good luck gentlemen.

Army of the Cumberland September Awards:

General Chatain Attention: by authority of General Sands, Western Theater Commander General Chatain is awarded the Kearny Cross of Valor, and 15 OBD Points for his action against enemy forces. This is another extremely fine effort.
