This is the first time in 3 weeks that I get off work on time and nobody is in the Tavern. I need someone to buy that cool drink! Ned, Derald, Mark, Antony--where is everyone? We will have to get Ax Ruhrmann out of retirement for a get-together!

Gen Simms appears at the top of the stairs and slides down the banister, cheering and whistling as he goes. Goodness gracious, Miss Katie, that was one fun afternoon and evening. It was nice of you to have plenty of drinks in your room for us. It's been ages since I enjoyed the company of someone that much and I sure do appreciate it. When will you have another meeting of the AotC Book Club? I'm sure that we would all come again if the battlefields will allow us. I don't know why Gen Danner missed this meeting especially since the drinks were on the house. I apologize but I was being so attentive to your reading while you were holding the book in your lap but that dress is cut so, so low that I got to dreaming of watermelons and just plain dropped off to sleep. I had a very pleasant nap though.

Just make sure Ned doesn't look in the mirror over the bar as he's likely to be irate when he sees the glasses and mustache we drew on his face while he was "sleeping"
