Western Theatre Commander General Ernest Sands:

The Army of the Cumberland June muster was 27 of 30 officers responding. We were assigned one new recruit this month, Lieutenant Kershner. He has been assigned to the XIV Corps, 1st Division, 1st Brigade. We welcome him to the Army and know he will fare well.

I have just been informed that Lieutenant Phil Thompson, XIV Corps, 1st Division, 4th Brigade has retired due to real life issues. He will be placed on the retired list as there is a possibility that he might return in the future. We wish him well and thank him for his efforts and hope he has enjoyed the gaming the Club supports. Also, Mark Twitty has requested a short LOA. We hope he returns soon. Officers Pettigano, Brenner, Armstrong, Biggs, and Zapp have been placed in the AotC Hospital for failing to muster. Hopefully all of these officers will rejoin the Army in the future.

Seventeen battles were started this month and fourteen ended. Of these fourteen, 8 were major victories, 0 minor victories, 2 major defeats, 0 minor losses, there was 1 draw, and there were 3 maneuvers or West Point Training games played to an end this month. Congratulations gentlemen well played.

The XX Corps, 1st Division has been selected for the Honor Guard this month.

There are no officers currently in advanced training.

Current Tournament:

There is a strong chance the tournament will have to be abandoned as not enough Rebels have presented themselves.
