Editing own post

MAIN TAVERN ROOM
Welcome to officers of both sides. Sit down and enjoy a drink served by our lovely barmaids Helga and Ingrid. Trade war stories or tall tales, but remember your deportment; that large man behind the counter will not hesitate to escort you out, if your behavior does not honor your rank!

I think that a test between Austalian and French wine would be a great idea. Although to be fair it is often hard to compare the same grape type when grown in different countries. Wine a damn fine thing to be interested in - love talking about and drinking it - as you might have guessed

It might be that you need to go to the board index first--then select the Woodin Injun Tavern--then the Bar or backroom. That will put you out of the read-only aspect and then allow you to edit. Give it a try.

I tried and it doesn't change anything... I can only edit a message right away... then if I want to edit it later it's not available.

It would be indeed good to be able to edit your own postings, if not unlimited then at least for a longer time, I tried to edit a post that wasn't 5 minutes old and I couldn't do it anymore, seems a bit too restrictive.
I could understand that on boards with a high frequency of postings as that leads to a lot chaos but this forum seems relatively quiet and I doubt it needs such restrictions.
