Divisional Tournament?

Welcome to officers of both sides. Sit down and enjoy a drink served by our lovely barmaids Helga and Ingrid. Trade war stories or tall tales, but remember your deportment; that large man behind the counter will not hesitate to escort you out, if your behavior does not honor your rank!

Divisional Tournament?

Post by David Danner »

Gentlemen:

I have opened preliminary discussion with a Rebel Army for a Divisional Tournament. Do we have interest to proceed from any of the AotC Divisions? I hope so and if someone would like to run the tournament--please step forward.

One step forward
and
One step forward

so 2 steps forward

you will have to tell me about the habits of the club about tournaments though

the main problem might be to make sure we have the same number of players on each side ....

That would be a pleaser Lieutenant 8-) . I have also organized a few tournaments or 'special games' n our french wargaming club and we can compare our experiences and try to see what works well and what doesnot ...

But of course, the most important thing is to have players.
I guess you'd rather need answers from your divisional commanders General Danner (after they probed their brigade commanders). Otherwise, you will have a few volunteers from different units of the Army but no division ...

I am in also. I am sure we can field several players but we are going to need to do so by E-mail invite. Before that though we need to know which Rebel army we will be facing and have some ideas on what kind of tournament it will be. There are two

I got cut off. Lt Col Chatain and Lt Olinsky have offered their assistance with running a tournament and I feel that they should be taken up on their offer. I feel we need to get an organizing committee together with the Rebels to figure out the basics for a tournament before mass E-mailing everyone. It has been my experience that players will not commit to a tournament until they know something about it.

General

I have received unanimous support from the officers of the 1/XIV and you can count the whole division as available for this challenge.
