October 20, 2011

The Army of the Cumberland August muster was 22 of 36 officers responding.

The Army reported 12 major victories, 2 minor victories, 6 draws, 1 minor loss, 3 major losses.

The XIV Corps, 1st Division, and XIV Corps, 2nd Division (Deuce Fourteen) are both awarded the title of Honor Guard this month.

My personal thanks and <salute> to General Gross for so consistently providing these AotC Monthly Reports. And my personal congratulations are extended to the officers of the First and Second Divisions, XIV Corps for their 100% Muster Return this past month! Well done...and well done to all of those AotC officers who also "stood to the line!"
