The Army of the Cumberland December muster was 24 of 34 officers responding.

The Army reported 6 major victories, 2 minor victory, 4 draws, 1 minor losses, 5 major losses.

The XX Corps, 1st Division (Cumberland Rifles), is awarded the title of Honor Guard this month.
