I'm buying

MAIN TAVERN ROOM
Welcome to officers of both sides. Sit down and enjoy a drink served by our lovely barmaids Helga and Ingrid. Trade war stories or tall tales, but remember your deportment; that large man behind the counter will not hesitate to escort you out, if your behavior does not honor your rank!

I'm buying

Post by G. Edmand »

After a worrisome week thinking the "Dread-Mohawkus" (COVID-19) :? had got me....I am positively giddy  with relief that one can still catch a garden variety sinus infection. So: to celebrate the drinks are on me all night (or until 1am CST rolls around).

On a more serious not: I got thrashed in my first return engagement. Antietam - South Mountain scenario: lesson learned? Never attack dug in Rebs, until ALL (or maybe 90%) of your troops arrive. Make 'em wait until you have a crushing force ready to climb!

Sorry I missed the booze, sir, but I will most certainly chalk up the info for later use. Glad to hear it wasn't the VID.
